The Dancer Transition Resource Centre Celebrates 25th Anniversary

The Dancer Transition Resource Centre will be celebrating its 25th Anniversary on Thursday, December 1st, 2011 at 8pm at the Norman & Annette Rothstein Theatre. Simone  Orlando is the event Artistic Director. Hosted by CBC's Stephen Quinn, the gala and fundraiser will be a dynamic evening of inspiration and entertainment. The evening will feature a wide range of dynamic performances by BC’s most accomplished dancers from a variety of dance styles, including Ballet BC, Noam Gagnon’s Co. Vision Selective, Mandala Arts and Culture, Danny Nielsen, Goh Ballet, the Damelahamid Dance Co. and dancers Danielle Gardner & Jeff Mortensen from “So You Think You Can Dance Canada”.


DTRC is a national, charitable organization dedicated to helping dancers make necessary transitions into, within, and from professional performing careers. It is the lifeline, advocate, and trusted resource for hundreds of professional dancers when they need it most.
